Kristen strives to capture unique moments in time and
portray scenes that might otherwise be overlooked.
A warm glow with sparkling colors, abstract water patterns, striking
clouds, and thoughtful figurative poses are just some of
the details that characterize her work.  Best described as a poetic
blend of contemporary impressionism and representational art,
Kristen's work epitomizes the balance between detail and mystery.
Internationally recognized, Kristen's artwork appears in both private
and corporate collections.
In addition to several art shows, Kristen has illustrated two children's books, Two Tales of Hawaii and Father Damien, both for Island Heritage, three coloring books for The Bess Press, a line of greeting cards and prints for Signature Designs, a line of greeting cards for Hawaiian Resources as well as numerous private commissions.
She is currently illustrating a new book for Island Heritage, entitled Kaimana Big and Strong.
