Lori grew up in Colorado and spent much of her childhood traveling in the Rocky Mountains. After getting her degree in Fine Art from Colorado State University in 1978, she began a career in Graphic Design. Leaving that behind, she re-discovered her love for the natural world, and began a journey to paint the beauty of her surroundings.
Continuing studies with Claire Evans, Howard Carr, Mark Nelson, Chuck Ceraso, Ken Valastro, Darrell Hill and Mary Pettis.
Lori’s work appears in many public and private collections, including Pueblo Bank and Trust, Denver, First National Bank of Arvada, and City of Boulder Open Space Department.
